Each device we design is completely custom-made, so we’re not able to restock or accept returns. The good news is, every device comes with an excellent warranty for added peace of mind.

Warranty

Every device comes with a warranty offering 180 days of protection. Should anything come up, we’ll take care of repairs or replacements.

Fit Guarantee

Above all, we guarantee a great fit for your pet’s comfort and mobility. If the fit still isn't right after adjustments, we'll modify or rebuild it to make sure the device is safe and comfortable.

How we make our custom helmets for your pet!

Our process for creating a custom 3D-printed helmet begins with a 3D scan of your pet’s head at our office in Bloomingdale, NJ. Once we have the scan, we import it into our custom software, where we design and build a fully personalized helmet. The design balances structure and flexibility where needed while incorporating our breathable pattern, ensuring your pet can wear it comfortably at all times. After the digital design is finalized, we 3D print the helmet, post-process the print, attach our components, and schedule a fitting back at our office to ensure the perfect fit.

When would a pet need a custom helmet?

We most often create our helmets for pets with noticeable cranial differences, such as open fontanelles or conditions like hydrocephalus. Our goal is to provide protection for areas of the skull that are otherwise vulnerable, helping pets live safer, happier, and healthier lives. Unsure if your pet could benefit from a helmet? Is there a Warranty?

We offer a 180-day, no-questions-asked device warranty. The only exceptions are intentional damage, unadvised modifications that result in a faulty product, or damage caused by your pet, such as chewing. We also guarantee the fit of every device, so if it’s not just right the first time, we’ll modify or rebuild it!

How it all works: Making the devices

Creating a Cast

Our casting kit can be shipped worldwide and allows you to create a precise, sturdy mold of your pet's body. It’s a simple process, and we’re here to help if you need support. You’re also welcome to visit our office or a local 3DPets PAWvider for a quick and easy 3D scan.

3D Scan

When your pet's mold arrives (or if you choose to visit us or a 3DPets PAWvider), we use the LiDAR technology on an iPhone to 3D scan and create a digital version of your pet.

Design

Your digitized pet is then modified with our custom software to the specifications of their needs and body. This creates their custom jacket that the device componentry attaches to.

3D Print

The device is printed on our high-resolution 3D printer with a special flexible Thermoplastic Poly-Urethane (TPU) in your chosen color.

Assemble

After sanding and removing imperfections, we attach human grade prosthetic components and complete a final inspection prior to fitting or shipping.
