Welcome to the family!

3DPets set out with the mission of bringing animal mobility devices into the 21st century. No longer will pets be left in technology's dust. We are the team behind the advanced 3D Printed Full-Limb canine prosthetic and carts.

  2. Remain innovative and continue applying new technologies
  3. Be passionate!

Our Promises:

  1. Always stand by our work, if you have questions or need help with a device, we will always be here.
  2. Always point families in the right direction if we are not a good fit.
  3. Continue advancing mobility devices for animals of all types.

The Technology

Technology has come a long way over the past decade, bringing incredible innovations to industries all around the world. Unfortunately, some fields have struggled to keep up or find meaningful ways to adopt these new tools. Pet orthotics, prosthetics, and mobility carts were among them, and that’s where we stepped in. Our mission is to bring the latest advancements to pets in need, helping them achieve better outcomes while reducing stress and strain for both pets and their families.

Through a combination of innovative methods, we’ve brought pet prosthetics and carts into the 21st century by incorporating Industry 4.0 technology that even the human orthotics and prosthetics world is only beginning to explore.

By combining 3D scanning, custom-designed software, and 3D printing, we’re able to create the next generation of devices for pets in need.

The Purpose

Pets with amputations above the elbow or leg deformities have traditionally been written off, since partial-limb prosthetics couldn’t be fitted. Their only options were a clunky cart or nothing at all, and that just didn’t sit right with us. Through some incredible collaborations, we are now able to offer these pets an option they have never had before, and here is why that is so important:

  1. Pets carry about 60% of their weight on their front limbs, and the prosthetic is designed to help redistribute that weight more evenly. This reduces strain on the carpal joints and helps prevent deterioration, hyperextension, and even arthritis.
  2. Regain more normal mobility. Many three-legged pets tire much more quickly and have difficulty covering any real distance for understandable reasons. Our prosthetics and carts give them back the freedom to move more comfortably and confidently. One of our most remarkable cases went from walking just 3–5 miles a week to 12–15 miles while using our prosthetic. The results speak for themselves.
  3. Reduce the risk of serious future issues. Let’s say a three-legged pet injures their only remaining front leg. That could mean another expensive surgery and potentially leave them a double amputee. That outcome clearly isn’t the kind of care we want for pets, and it’s why proactive support is so important.

We think this covers the main points, and we’d love to connect on a call if you’d like to discuss more!
