When would a pet need a custom stifle brace?

We most commonly create our stifle braces for pets with cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tears or ruptures but can also support pets with advanced osteoarthritis, mild fractures, or pets that need an alternative to surgery for other health risks or concerns.

Is there a warranty?

We offer a 180-day no questions asked device guarantee. The only thing that we will not cover is obviously intentional damage, unadvised modifications that result in a faulty product, or damage done by the pet, such as chewing. Additionally, we guarantee the fit of these devices, so if we don’t get it right on the first try, we will modify or rebuild it.

How it all works: Making the devices

Creating a Cast

Our casting kit can be shipped worldwide and allows you to create a precise, sturdy mold of your pet's body. It’s a simple process, and we’re here to help if you need support. You’re also welcome to visit our office or a local 3DPets PAWvider for a quick and easy 3D scan.

3D Scan

When your pet's mold arrives (or if you choose to visit us or a 3DPets PAWvider), we use the LiDAR technology on an iPhone to 3D scan and create a digital version of your pet.

Design

Your digitized pet is then modified with our custom software to the specifications of their needs and body. This creates their custom jacket that the device componentry attaches to.

3D Print

The device is printed on our high-resolution 3D printer with a special flexible Thermoplastic Poly-Urethane (TPU) in your chosen color.

Assemble

After sanding and removing imperfections, we attach human grade prosthetic components and complete a final inspection prior to fitting or shipping.
